Anne of Green Gables Audiobook
Marilla and Matthew thought that they were ample for one another and they didn’t need anyone else in their life. It was the right decision they made about their life initially but they made a little miscalculation i.e they never thought about their old age. Now when they have grown old, they think that they need the help of young legs.
For this purpose, they decide to adopt a boy who could help them in their daily routine work and can also take care of their farm as well. The plan was perfect but it wasn’t executed properly because a girl was sent to their house by the orphanage instead of a boy. At first, the brother and sister were not happy to find the red-haired Anne on their doorstep and then in their life but the girl established a relationship with everyone very quickly.
She showed her guardians a new side of life that they had never bothered to look into. Matthew and Marilla started feeling that they were young again psychologically and they started loving this young girl who bloomed in front of them. Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote a wonderful story in the form of this book but it never would have been the same without the narration done by Rachel McAdams.
The narrator has made us feel the liveliness of the main character. Anne of Avonlea also became famous because of the narration because the audience likes to listen to such stories in a voice which has feelings in it. The main motive of the novel was to show feelings and if the feelings had not been conveyed properly then they would have lost their touch.
