Jodi Taylor brought a new world to life when she started this series long ago and now till this eighth part the new world is well cemented in literature. At St. Mary’s the students are taught in a different way i.e instead of reading history lessons, the students go back in time and watch the entire scenario with their own eyes. Also, the institute has to keep an eye on the terrorists that want to alter the timeline in one way or the other.
Most of the time it is the existence of the institute which comes under threat and the students along with their teachers do everything which they can to protect St. Mary’s. Max’s life changed the day when she joined the institute and though she didn’t like history initially she became a big fan of the method in which it was taught.
Max is in the world of the Pharaoh’s now and the storm is just acting as a killer on the land. She has been kidnapped and she thinks that this abduction has saved her life. Just One Damned Thing After Another and The Toast of Time kind of start can be enjoyed here and according to some fans, it is much better.
Max is alone in this one and she has to pull a dangerous mission or everything she has worked for will get destroyed or become non-existent. The narrator chosen for this eighth part is Zara Ramm and she has not changed anything in the routine style. The same pattern which was adopted in the narration of the rest of the parts can be observed in this episode too.
