Stories with paranormal activities involved in them need the proper attention of the author because the listeners are focusing more on the presentation. The story loses its grip on the mind of the audience if it is not properly portrayed. Kim Harrison has no such issue in the creation of such stories. Million Dollar Demon and Trouble with the Cursed can prove the true skill that the author has. Once again in this story, the main character Rachel Mariana Morgan is not an ordinary girl at all.
She is a witch-born demon and this means that she houses powers that are not measurable. With the powers that this young witch has, she has saved the world many times and the last mission which Rachel has completed along with her friends was the toughest for all of them. After the accomplishment of the task, all of them got the powers that they were looking for but they were ignorant of the danger attached to those powers.
Along with those powers, evil also returned to the land and it starts taking the lives of the innocent at a quick pace. Rachel and her friends were already troubled because of the zombie attack and this new enemy just added more to their miseries.
In the voice of Marguerite Gavin, we listen to Rachel who looks quite serious this time because the task at hand needs a sacrifice that can tear her heart out. If she fails to give the sacrifice then the war would be over soon and the lives of the innocent would be lost in a huge number because the enemy is not ready to show mercy.
