Alone with the Stars Audiobook
Amelia Earhart is in possession of everything and she is the kind of woman who can be envied because of her possessions. She is at the top of the world after breaking the record as a female pilot and then her books also received the same amount of fame. Then one day she went on a flight mission and didn’t return. Her plane lost contact with the marine and mostly the people at the station thought that she was dead.
Far away, a fifteen year old girl named Lizzie was listening to the radio in her house and suddenly the radio caught a distress signal from Amelia. Lizzie is the only one who finds out that Amelia is alive and she also knows about the exact location of this wonderful female pilot. This means that the marine are searching in the wrong direction and Lizzie must convince them that Amelia is waiting for them at another location. [Alone with the Stars Audiobook]
This is hard because no one is ready to believe the story of a teenager who does not know anything about the flight. Also, there is no guarantee that the distress signal was a genuine one. Hillary Huber and Emily Bauer have spiced the story with their voice and their coordination is also wonderful. [Alone with the Stars Audiobook]
David R. Gillham has taken the story above the level of Nemesis Games in thrill. The two women are really charged up to help each other and they are prepared to fight against the odds for the sake of their life. It is about trust and commitment to the task and target that one keeps in the mind.
