Agent 355 Audiobook
Stories linked to spies are always interesting because there is suspense all the time that what is waiting for us on the next corner of the road. Marie Benedict is the kind of author who can make you feel that you are part of the entire procedure. Sometimes the audience starts thinking that it is part of the team which is working with the main character.
This is the time of the Revolutionary War and the colonists are losing the war apparently. Elizabeth happens to be an eighteen year old girl and she has nothing to do with any of the things that are happening outside the four walls of her house. Her parents want her to stay indoors so that she remains protected and out of danger. However, the view of this young girl changes when the parents bring a soldier to their house for the first time.
Elizabeth thinks that she can also provide a useful service to the nation by acting as a spy. So she offers her services to the nation and starts spying undetected because no one can think that an innocent girl is actually keeping an eye on everything. This is not based on the creation of the author’s imagination alone like A Line to Kill rather it has a few truths attached to it.
The situations and the concept along with the era are borrowed from real history. We can name this book as historical fiction and no doubt it has all the ingredients of that category. Stepwise development can allure any listener to the novel because it is easy to understand this way.
