Age of Myth Audiobook
The first book starts with a series of legends for the fans of Michael J. Sullivan. The author is really good with fantasy tales and in the past few decades, Sullivan has remained one of the most effective fantasy writers of the era. He has books like Age of Swords and Rise of Empire under his belt and these books have mesmerized many fans worldwide.
There is a wide range of characters found in these novels and the long series that the author has created. These characters develop slowly in the story or sometime in the entire series so we cannot judge their personality at the beginning because it is evolving. The story begins when mankind is described as a race that worshipped gods as they always do since the beginning of time. They have named these gods Fhrey and these gods are considered powerful and immortal.
This goes on for centuries and then finally a god gets killed by a human being which damages the relationship between these two groups forever. The gods come down on the humans with full force and now only a few are remaining, if they go down in the fight then the human race will get extinct forever.
Tim Gerard Reynolds narrates the powerful character of Raithe first who is named the god killer. Then there is Suri who thinks that he knows the truth about the future and it is complete chaos. The last one is Persephone who is completely disturbed and thinks that she cannot be a very good leader under such circumstances. Thus the time has come for the myths to end and it is time to get things decided on the battlefield.
