The last part of the series doesn’t come with surprises instead this one comes with the news of a lot of sacrifices. Rukh and Jessira are on the move once again, they have been looking for a safe place for their people for a long time. So far they have not been able to find or forge that safe haven for the people. Ashoka seems to be the perfect place in such a condition but the land is quite far away and the journey is full of dangerous turns and twists.
There are enemies that are waiting at every corner, ready to pounce on Rukh and Jessira whenever the time is right. Hal’El has lost his reputation and he wants to achieve that lost glory again for which he can go to any limits. He thinks that he is lucky that he has been able to escape and this is more like a second chance for him.
Author of the series Davis Ashura has made all of us remember A Necessary Heresy and Memories of Prophecies through this last part. Those two books also showed the sacrifices of the heroes which saved a lot of lives in the end. For Rukh this is the last opportunity to get the job done and he must not fail in this last attempt. Suwraith is coming towards Ashoka and she has some plans of her own to complete.
If she succeeds in her plans then Rukh will lose all the opportunities forever. He will not be able to save his love and the people of the land that are depending on him. Nick Podehl’s mature and experienced voice is observed in narration so raising an objection against it is not an option.
