Laura Thalassa comes with the story of the most famous Siren i.e Callypso. Callypso has been introduced in several novels before this and all the stories about her have remained tragic. She is in search of her soulmate on most occasions and the circumstances just don’t allow her to live a placid life. In this tale, she is captured by Karnon who is famous with the name “Mad King”. The king imprisoned her in the deepest dungeons and there she struggled for her escape.
Finally one day she got the chance to free herself from the prison and from there she ran toward the Kingdom of Flora. Desmond joined Callie on her way and both reached the fae kingdom where they thought they would be safe from the evil of the world. The perception of the two lovers was incorrect because they didn’t understand the danger completely.
Things were not the same in the fae world and their enemies have come quite near them. Susannah Jones speeds up the narration slowly so that the listener can feel the tension building in the scenes. The place where the couple was staying had its threatening secrets and time for love and romance after reunion gets squeezed up for both of them. Rhapsodic and Dark Harmony is also scintillating in impact so one should get those books as a must-have item after ending this precious literature.
No one is going to have a safe journey in this book because if Callie is not getting what she wants then no one will rest in peace. In the end, she too comes down on her enemy with full power as she is left with no other option in life.
