Usually, in vampire tales, the audience is told that the vampires are living close to the human world and they come out in the night only. They have not been able to dominate the world because every sun rise forces them back into their coffins where they remain all day long. Being the creatures of the night they cannot rule the day.
Bella Forrest has described vampires as a strong species in this part and they are hunting human females without any restriction. Sofia was hoping for something good on her seventeenth birthday rather she got kidnapped by a dark demon near the seashore. Getting back to her senses changed her life forever as she found herself on an island that is governed by the dark force of the vampires. The demons are so strong on this side of the planet that they have blackened the sun forever.
So for the humans getting to this island is like entering a nightmare that would never end. Sofia soon got selected among those girls who were sent to the private quarters of the prince. Getting closer to Derek Novak was a strange experience for Sofia but very quickly she realized that it was the only way of securing herself from the rest of the demons. Emma Galvin, Kate Rudd, and Zachary Webber have used their voices well in narration.
The three have not given too much yelling sounds as this style might have made the narration unclear. Astounding to see the author of The Gender Game 2: The Gender Secret and The Gender Game 4: The Gender War writing this story about the vampire world. The human world is discussed just at the start of the book and the rest of the tale takes place on that strange planet that is not present on the map of the world.
