Peter F. Hamilton is the kind of author who has spicy things for the listeners all the time. Peter never tries to add too much to the stories because the stories are all already perfect, the moment they come out of the author’s pen. Over the years the author wrote man stories about the fantasy world. Here the book combines the short stories and there is also a short novel in the book as well for those fans who like detailed stuff.
Every story has its theme and a separate list of characters that have not so much in common. Six short stories in the book make us travel to different eras where everything is happening in a unique way. The human race is not painted in the routine style instead people are acting quite differently in these stories, especially in the novel. There are a number of occasions in this book when our connection with the real world breaks but we as listeners don’t mind this thing because we get so engaged in the story.
We want the story to move on in the same way because it does not matter whether it is talking about the real world or not, it is basically the flow that matters most of all. Steven Crossley has also concentrated on the smooth run of the story and no doubt this is the true job of a narrator these days.
Pandora’s Star and The Dreaming Void cannot be ignored because these books are also among the masterpieces which the author has created. History linked to five hundred years is discussed in this single book and there is no point at which we get bored.
