A Gentleman in Moscow

A Gentleman in Moscow Audiobook

Situations are serious outside the hotel but inside the hotel, there is a different game going on between the main characters. 1922 was a special era in Russian history and there was a lot that changed in the country. Amor Towles talks about that change but it is not the prime focus of the author rather the author has separated the main characters from those things and has attached Rostov to an emotional drama.

Rostov has never done any kind of work in his life because he belongs to an aristocratic family. He never expected that one day he would be sleeping in an attic in a hotel and would be asked to do work as he was the one from the beginning who was telling other people about work. The house arrest at the grand hotel changed everything for Rostov.

The man became furious initially but after a while, he felt amazed to observe that he was nicely adjusting to the thing and there were certain things that he started realizing. He never ever thought that he would be emotional about such kind of love but all of it touched Rostov’s life to the core. Nicholas Guy Smith didn’t have to arrange things while narrating the story because it is already arranged awesomely by the author.

There is more in the form of The Lincoln Highway and Rules of Civility for each and every one of us. No one would have to go through any part of this book twice because it would become clear in the first go. Simple words and clear language are used so that everyone can understand it easily.
