A Game of Fate is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the first book in Hades Saga which is written by Scarlett St. Clair. She is a Master’s degree holder in Library Sciences and from there, she developed an interest in writing. You will be thoroughly impressed with the writing of the author in her King of Battle and Blood novel. Moreover, A Touch of Malice is another fantastic novel that Scarlett St. Clair has written.
The audio narration of A Game of Fate is done by Tyler Donne. The performer was quite slow, boring, and flat. It was an annoying performance that was never able to connect the listeners with the characters.
Hades was considered the god of the underworld. He was widely known by all for his very rigid rules, impossible bargains, and luxurious nightclubs. He was the one who used to control everything. He was not at all ready to find out about what the Fates have chosen for his future wife and the queen. The queen was the goddess of the spring and she was known by the name of Persephone.
Despite all the attractions and charm of Persephone to the god, there was a highly ambitious student of journalism who was determined to expose Hades. He wanted to expose him for all of his ruthless ways and immense cruelty.
Hades was up against an impossible situation. He proved his future wife wrong. There were plenty of forces who wanted to keep both of them apart regardless of all his efforts…
Everything is good about this book which mainly includes its story and characters. However, it was the poor narration that ruined this well-written book completely.
