Kell is one of the last few Travelers. They were all magicians with a very special, coveted ability. They were able to travel between the different parallel universes. Kell was capable enough to choose where he wanted to land. There was Grey London as well which was boring, dirty, and with no magic at all.
Then, there was Red London too and that was a place where magic and life were revered. The Mahesh Dynasty was the one that presides right over a flourishing and progressive empire. Then it comes to White London which was ruled by the one who killed their way to get to the throne.
The book is worth the credit. It comes with an incredible story and some fascinating characters. The narrator was good for the male voices but struggled a bit with female characters’ voicing.
