A Closed and Common Orbit is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the second chapter in Wayfarer’s novel series which is written by Becky Chambers. She is an American writer of science fiction novels. She also won the Hugo Award for her Wayfarers novel series. The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet is one of her finest books. Another book from the author that did well for her and her fans is A Prayer for the Crown-Shy.
The audio narration of this book is done by Rachel Dulude. It was a good narration by her as she didn’t have any annoying voices. She made it a very easy listen for the audience.
Love once was only some artificial intelligence of a ship. But, that is not how it is today. When she woke up one day in a completely new body then she had no memory left of what was her life before. All this happened after there was a complete system shutdown followed by a reboot. Just as she learned to negotiate the universe and find out who she is, she became friends with Pepper. He was an excitable engineer who was looking to help so that she could learn and grow.
Lovelace and Pepper together would discover that no matter how big the space is, two people couldn’t fill it, even together.
This is another amazing story by Becky. Her writing is just so adorable. She will introduce you to the amazing world of Rosemary Harper, which you all will love a lot. The twist by the end of this book will catch listeners by surprise. Becky should write more of these.
