This audio book by Richard Fox contains book number 3 and 4 of the series so one listening to it must listen to the first two as well. Story is not complicated rather it is worth to listen by all means.
Author has not tried to waste time on the extra things which could have made the plot of the story look weak. These two parts were the crucial portions of the story because there were several things which get decided at this level.
Mark Boyett is on to the narration once again and the fans wanted him at this post because only he could have handled this one. Thomas Gage and the last members of the royal family were exiled from their home world.
Thomas is the one who has sworn to protect the royal family in all circumstances and so far he has been able to keep his promise. The fleet was able to find refuge in this small world which looked quite peaceful and now Daegon has decided to invade this territory as well.
Lady Christina also approaches the fleet and she shows her intentions to lead the mission on this occasion which further make the situation critical for Gage. The course of the war changes when secrets from the past are revealed.
Gage finally thinks that he can defeat the enemy which appears to be unbeatable. The Battle of the Void and Hell’s Horizon will be quite helpful if someone is interested in war scenes and bloodshed in a heroic way. This is a longer book than the previous two and good thing is that it is magnetic in many ways.
