The genetically modified warriors were the ones who kept the Nova Alliance war machine stirring against the enemy Coalition. That was the case in most of the days. Engines are all that could stand amid chaos and salvation.
The Shadow Squad was led by Akira Hayashi who was a legendary Engine Captain. Akira also fought on the frontlines for as long as a decade. They were all on the edge of victory when the enemy Coalition launched several devastating and desperate attacks. It was something that crippled the entire Nova Alliance restoration sites which were extremely critical for saving the dying planet.
As the restoration sites burnt and the hope of any salvation faded, the Shadow Squad was found fully equipped with neural implants. Those were required for the sake of connecting them with Apeiron. This one was the first-ever hybrid type of human-AI entity. That was programmed for what Captain Hayashi believed was an impossible task.
This novel is a fresh new take on post-apocalyptic and AI science fiction. There will be a man versus machine experience in this book which will be a superb experience for the audience.
