The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. is a science fiction and fantasy book. It is written by Neal Stephenson and co-authored by Nicole Galland. He is the number one bestselling writer in the New York Times of several novels and series. His novels are science fiction, action and adventure, historical fiction, and cyberpunk type. If you want to try something stunning from the author then try out his Termination Shock novel. Another good title from Neal Stephenson is his Snow Crash novel.
The audio narration of this novel is done by a team of narrators. They include Laurence Bouvard, Laural Merlington, Shelley Atkinson, Joe Barrett, Luke Daniels, and Will Damron. It is a great crew of speakers and the narration went quite well.
Melisande was a language and linguistic expert. When she met Tristan Lyons, a military intelligence officer accidentally at Harvard University then it marked the start of a series of significant events. Those events were big enough to change the lives and the history of humans forever. Mel was approached by a young operative from a shadowy government agency.
She was presented with a surprising offer. But, there was a condition. The condition was that she must sign an agreement of nondisclosure that will come to her with a huge sum of money.
Mel was needed by Tristan to do the translation of a few very old documents. If they were authentic then it would be an earth-shattering thing…
The story of this novel promises a lot but was not able to deliver to that promise. There is a collection of some nice short story ideas but somehow they were executed into something average only. On the narration side, there were no issues at all with the entire cast.
