“Cursed” was the starting book of the series and it didn’t only start the series rather it started something of epic proportion. S.J. West knew from the launching that the series would be a grand hit so the author started investing more time on this sequel after finalizing the initial part. Lilly Rayne was amazed that she had Lucifer as the guardian angel who was protecting her from all kinds of troubles since the beginning. The girl never got the answer that why the lord of darkness was so kind to her and what was the purpose behind this thing.
One thing she was sure of all the time was that whenever she was in trouble he was there to help her even in the minimal things. Then there is also another question that teased Lilly initially i.e why the forces around her are so determined to get rid of her. Every time she is saved she gets another threat from another side. Riddles get solved in this second part and still, there is a need for few more parts so that a detailed version can be transferred to the mind of the restless fans. Also, get ready for a lot of tragedies and broken hearts when you start listening to this masterpiece. Slowing down in action and suspense is not the trend of S.J. West and the author has kept the style going here as well.
