Drizzt left the gnome city of Blingdenstone long ago because he was frustrated and also he had a lot of enemies there. The enemies are committed to chasing him to the end of the world but so far they have not been able to catch him unguarded. They have tried to use different methods but Drizzt has been lucky over the years. News from the underworld confuses Drizzt very much this time because he is told that his old friends are in great danger.
The news could be fake but to check its validity, Drizzt has to go back to his homeland where he will get a warm welcome but from his enemies. The threat can also have a direct impact on Mithril Hall so saying no is not on the list for the dark elf. It is a journey back to where everything started long ago and old faces will come back into the business. [Starless Night AudioBook]
R.A. Salvatore keeps on providing entertainment to the audience through the favorite character which the author has created. It has been a while that we as the audience got the detailed tour of the Underdark, this book will provide a well-described picture of the dark land. One-Eyed Jax and Exile have a good display of the author’s creativity so don’t underestimate any of Salvatore’s works. [Starless Night AudioBook]
Victor Bevine has been serving the series for a very long time, the fans have also adjusted well with the narrator’s mature voice so it was again a nice fluent performance by Victor. Trying a new narrator would have been a disaster at this spot so hopefully, we will keep on listening to the series in Victor’s voice.
