The Scottish Prisoner Audiobook
Diana Gabaldon became famous the world over after the Outlander series and here the author has once again added Jamie Fraser in the story. Jamie Fraser’s introduction starts the story when we listen about his sad mood after the loss of his wife. He is on parole and things have never been so much gloomy for him in his life. After a while, he gets the chance to meet Lord John Grey who is a soldier and a spy combined.
Lord John Grey has come to arrest Jamie but then things turn in an extraordinary way. John has a document that proves the corruption of a soldier but this is not the only thing. The man can stop big destruction from coming to the world but if he fails in his mission he would see everything burning up in front of his eyes. Instead of arresting Jamie, the spy known as John Grey joins hands with him for this one mission that leads both of them to Ireland. [The Scottish Prisoner Audiobook]
Narrators Jeff Woodman and Rick Holmes get enthusiastic when the two heroes combine their skills. It is not traveling back and forth in time like Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber, the story however has the seriousness in it which resembles these books.
The two heroes don’t waste a single moment in the story because they know what is at stake if they fail. Jamie is portrayed as a heartbroken person when the story started but after some time he just erases those thoughts from his mind and comes to the real world for some real action. Lord John Grey also leaves the differences aside and is not reluctant to join forces with Jamie. [The Scottish Prisoner Audiobook]
