The Trapped Mind Project Audiobook
Science fiction cannot get any better than this; the description of virtual reality makes it appear as a real-world in front of us. Michael Chatfield describes Austin as a high achiever at the start of the story. The man just never goes on the back foot in life and he achieves everything that he dreams of in life. Once he wanted to be the CEO of a big company and now he is the acting CEO of a company that digs asteroids. [The Trapped Mind Project Audiobook]
After achieving a lot in life Austin still felt that something was just not right i.e he wanted to rise more but there was nothing left for him to achieve after this highest post which he has achieved so easily. Then his attention shifts towards the virtual world and he thinks that he can pacify or calm his mind by staying in the virtual world for a while.
When he enters this new world as a dwarf he experiences a new thing but he wanted relaxation, not war which he confronts in this gaming zone. Austin could have easily quit but he does not possess the habit of accepting defeat. He starts gaining power against the cruel rule and there comes a stage when Austin starts thinking that perhaps the world he was previously living in was fake and this is the real world in which he has entered. Tristan Morris also makes us feel the power of the virtual world with the help of narration. Don’t underestimate the potential of the author in The Two Week Curse and The Fourth Realm too. Opening every book by Michael is like entering a new world full of different kinds of surprises.
