Chance and luck play throughout this story which is a cute love story of Arthur and Ben who are totally different as compared to one another. They have their own perception of life and they think that they are on the right path so there is no need to change that opinion. Arthur thinks that the universe plans excellently and all one has to do is to go with the flow and the romance will come to him.
So he is waiting for the day when he will meet the one he needs to spend his life with. Ben on the other hand has other views and he thinks that the plans of the universe are not always correct because he has recently separated from his boyfriend and he is facing complete isolation. However, when Ben and Arthur meet at the post office, their encounter at once made them feel that there is some sort of connection between them.
The single moment just freezes everything for a while and then they move forward without a second thought. Then after a while, they meet again and Arthur thinks that it is a sign from the universe but Ben does not think that way at all.
Noah Galvin and Froy Gutierrez are the narrators who have provided the voice to these characters who are unable to decide whether they should call their relationship love or not. Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda and The Upside of Unrequited will rise new kinds of emotions in every mind when these books are heard along with this brilliant romantic story. The authors Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera really know how to depict feelings when it is needed in a story.
