Whiskey is a contemporary romance novel. It is the second book in the Brewed Series. The title is written by Molly McAdams. The bestselling American author is known for writing contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels. One of her better books to mention here is Stealing Chances. Another equally brilliant book of Molly McAdams to share here with her fans is Taking Chances.
The audio narration of the Whiskey novel is done by Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke. It was a wonderful performance given by both narrators and you will love it.
I was the Dixon who left. Through all the bad, good, and worst ever imaginable, I stayed gone. When I made my return back home after a decade, I was not surprised at all by the cold reception given by my family or even the best friend of my brother. Her name was Emberly Olsen. I spent all of my childhood tormenting her. Now the days with her felt more like the cruellest type of unintended revenge. We had changed. She had changed a lot. Huffs chanced into laughs, laughs into moans, which were sweeter than any sound. The years of animosity ignite into carnal need and passion. We could blame that all on the whiskey. I had a feeling that we will try. But we were not that drunk at all.
Whiskey comes with wonderful characters but the storyline could have been a lot better. You will find the families terrible to each other and that is something which didn’t go well with all the listeners. The treatment of Kayson and Rae in the story was horrible as well which listeners don’t like much.
