Gentle Warrior Audiobook
Fighting for survival is a must, every living being has this right and he must avail it. Coming back for revenge after survival is not something that is advisable by many. Elizabeth ran away from the fortress when the massacre took place and was among those lucky ones who were able to save themselves.
Still, she didn’t forget those who made her family beg for its life. So after a while when everything settles down, Elizabeth once again gathers courage and comes back to the family castle in order to get to those who made her run in the first place. It was surely not a very good or wise idea which she had in mind but she was committed to avenging her family.
Going against the enemies alone was not the correct way so she went to Geoffrey Berkley for some help. The powerful baron had his eyes set on Elizabeth for a long time and now he thinks that he can finally have her for himself. Julie Garwood again develops a lusty love story in the form of the book Wired and Murder List painted love stories that developed because of lust initially and then that love started becoming pure gradually.
The voice of Elizabeth is tackled by the narrator Anne Flosnik and the development of the character has been handled stupendously. We can guess from the voice when Elizabeth is getting angry or emotional in the scenes. Even when Elizabeth is falling for Geoffrey the voice the narrator tells the tale very neatly. It is a tale of revenge and suddenly after the middle, it emerges as a love story which is astonishing.
