This was not a single book in the past rather the author Julie Garwood wrote three books in the form of a series. All those three parts are combined into one in this book so the listener does not have to buy the books separately. Basically, the series is about the Clayborne brothers who try to find love in their life. In these three parts, we listen about the love of one brother at a time. In One Pink Rose, Mikael Naramore narrates the character of Travis who is the eldest in the family.
The young man was stubborn in his behavior and he used to assume that he was the kind who could never fall in love but his perception is proved wrong when he meets Emily. That right woman changes his life and personality at the same time. Then the second part is about Douglas who was decent in behavior and he was the one among the brothers who was a bit shy as well.
However, he was not the kind who would leave a girl in distress. So when he sees that Isabel needs help, he jumps at the opportunity of saving her and this starts their love story. The last love story is about Adam and Genevieve which is more like Shadow Music. The two do not fall in love at once rather they take time to understand one another before falling in love.
The male characters show the tendency of the alpha in The Lion’s Lady at some points but on major occasions, the three brothers had individual personalities. The love in the series cannot be taken as wild love because the characters are mature and they take decisions with extreme care and precision.
