It is a wonderful story of married life and how relations are formed or they get broken. Robyn Carr never creates a story that does not have love in it. A New Hope and Hidden Summit proved this point of view of the author long ago. Now it is a strange kind of marriage party which all of us are going to witness. Charlene got divorced twenty five years ago and at that moment in her life, she got so much heartbroken that she decided that she will never marry again.
For more than two decades she has been able to keep that promise which she made to herself and suddenly something in her heart starts telling her that she should get married. So she gets engaged to the man who touches her heart and this starts to bring change in her life. Her daughter is not having a good time in her married life and she seems to be jealous of her mother’s newly found love.
Moreover, Charlene has started meeting her ex-husband once again and this is not something that is pinching her fiancé rather he is involved in the preparations of the wedding. Some people say that a storm is coming and this is not a good sign for the wedding day.
Therese Plummer is given a wonderful story to narrate because it has feelings and a big drama to tackle which is the kind of challenge that narrates like these days. The ending is important in this kind of story but it should not be touched in advance as it can be enjoyed only when you are enjoying the story in a neat rhythm.
