The House of Kennedy
The House of Kennedy is a memoir. It is written by James Patterson who is widely known for writing compelling mystery, crime, suspense, and true crime books. If you are a fan of the author and searching for more of his books in audio then Blowback will make a very special listen. You can expect the same level of entertainment from his Along Came a Spider (25th Anniversary Edition) novel as well.
The audio narration of The Hose of Kennedy is done by David Pittu. The narration was quite satisfactory but nothing special about it as such. The title, The House of Kenney comes with a bonus chapter where James Patterson has got some good stuff to offer to the listeners. He brought his writing skills to an amazing real-life story in a very intriguing way. He retold here about the rise and fall of the political class with his signature novelistic style. This way of representation is probably the best part of this book and the same makes it special from so many biographies of Kennedy already available in the market. The Kennedy was always known to be a family of amazing and charismatic adventures. They were raised in a way so that they could take risks in life for a big gain in return.
The Kennedys across many generations and decades have occupied a very special place in the imagination of America. They were cursed, charmed and unknowable, and familiar at once as well.
This book doesn’t have anything new to offer, especially if you have read a few biographies of Kennedy already. If you haven’t read such biographies before then this book will come out as a good experience for you.
