Lone Survivor Audiobook
Marcus Luttrell and Patrick Robinson talk about the situation which will make your hair stand straight. This is not the creation of the author’s imagination rather everything which is written in this book and narrated by Kevin T. Collins is real. The two authors start telling us about the mission that took place in 2005. Four US Navy SEALs went to the Afghanistan border because they had a hunch that the al Qaeda leader was gathering his force in that part of the country.
Only one of the Navy SEALs was able to return from that deadly mission which apparently seemed to be harmless. The author saw everything with his own eyes because he was part of the surviving team. According to the author, it was the biggest loss of life in American history because the US never lost so many soldiers in a mission before.
The enemies were actually ready for their invasion so they fought back with extreme rage. Lone Survivor and Service are on the same topic too because the author was never able to get this thing out of his system. He creates a picture of those horrible scenes with the help of words and tells us how his team members died in front of his eyes one by one.
For a very long time, there was only the sound of guns and nothing else. The fight was so deadly that the area got covered with smoke for a while. Then it was the experience of the author that provided him the opportunity to save his skin and other people fighting alongside him. The enemies were also forced to retreat but the loss of life was terrible.
