Before the Fall Audiobook
This novel will raise many questions in the mind of the audience about fate and luck. It begins on a summer night when eleven passengers ride on the same plane to their destination. Out of those eleven passengers, only one was a painter with bad luck, the rest of the passengers belonged to the same wealthy family.
Scott Burroughs was the name of the painter and he was in a dejected mood but not in a mood of the suicide of course. After a while, the plane crashed in the deep ocean below and two of the passengers were able to save themselves. One survivor was Scott who was amazed to find that he did have the thing which people call luck.
The other was a young boy who was now the sole living member of that wealthy family. At first, Scott thought that he was lucky because he survived the crash but later he realized that his bad luck was still with him. The media thought that Scott had something to do with the crash and the blame game started from there.
The Punch possesses a few such scenes because people like such twists by Noah Hawley. The author has tried to add some kind of twists here as well. Scott joins hands with the surviving boy in the middle of the novel because he decides to investigate the matter on his own. This was the only way to prove that he was innocent and had nothing to do with the plane crash. Don’t forget to add Anthem to the list when you have decided to listen to thrillers, especially in the voice of Robert Petkoff.
