The Mercenaries of the Stolen Moon is the fourth chapter of Tales of the High Court. This LGBTQ+ fantasy romance novel is written by Megan Derr. She is into writing some excellent queer romance. The Pirate of Fathoms Deep is one of her most popular novels. Another one of the authors to mention here is The Heart of the Lost Star. The audio narration of The Mercenaries of the Stolen Moon is done by Michael Stellman. This performance went well and made this audio novel way more interesting than the paperback edition of the book.
Myra for 20 long years had served the High King who was so respected, familiar, and envied by the rest of the palace that called him the High Secretary. For 20 long years, he kept buried all of his secrets. After such a long time, he came to believe that his past has been left behind him. Then tragedy strikes during the much-awaited Festival of Harmony. That was the time of the incident when their past life of Myra was dragged well into the present.
Charlaine was once third within the commanding ranks of the Fathoms Deep and was used to secrets and shadows alike. But he was quite shocked and surprised to know what his best friend and his secret lover had been hiding for all those years. He had no idea in the wake of a dreadful tragedy as to what needed to be done, except all that it takes to help his friends.
This is a lovely book and you will pick the next title in the series once you finish this one. It will not only be an enjoyable experience but it will also help you to relax and calm your mind after a busy day.
